The story behind the lens.

Like a lot of people, I spent years daydreaming and feeling anxious before I found the courage to chase what I actually wanted. I was born in the Czech Republic with a pretty small view of the world. Then my family dropped everything and moved across the planet to Hawaii.

I hated it at first.

The culture, the language, the whole world around me flipped overnight, and I cried for the simple life we left behind.

What I didn't realize yet was that this move would end up changing the entire direction of my life.

At 12, I started surfing and fell hard for the ocean's wild, untamed energy. It taught me how to keep pushing when the water got rough, and how to find the calm waiting on the other side. At 14, I picked up my first camera, a GoPro, and started documenting waves and connecting with other creatives out in nature. It was beautiful.

Then I talked myself out of it.

I convinced myself surf photography would never pay the bills, so I chased money instead. I drifted through relationships that didn't serve me and never felt truly fulfilled.

Deep down I knew there was more waiting for me. My inner child wanted to play, create, and use the gift I'd been given.

At 21, I hit a wall. The most anxious stretch of my life.

I was in Vancouver with a partner I couldn't picture a future with, and no family or friends around for support.

That's when I learned the biggest lesson of my life: living to meet other people's expectations was never going to leave me satisfied.

So I made a change.

I bought a one-way ticket to New Zealand and went all in on creating. I chose myself. After tasting that kind of freedom, going back was never an option again. Through a ton of mistakes and a few big wins, I grew an audience of over 4 million people, learned how to tell stories that actually move people, and got to build a living doing what I love most. Some days I still can't quite believe that's true.

When I feel lost, I think back to that kid who first fell in love with the ocean, and I remember who I was before the world told me who to be.

Nature is where I feel at home. It's where I get to express myself and live free.

That's where my story keeps taking me... 🤍

Somewhere along the way, I also built a coaching business from the ground up. In under 10 months, it did over $1.4M in revenue and helped thousands of real people change their lives. Combined with the 4M+ people who now trust me with their attention every day, that taught me more about real marketing, real audiences, and what actually makes someone stop and care than any course or agency job ever could.
